Hello everybody
I have just upgraded to Corel Designer X6 64 bit and I have a problem editing callouts.
If I make a callout and want to move the tip I am pretty sure that I used to be able to use Shape Tools to move the node of the callout but that doesn't work any more. The only way to do this is to break up/ungroup the callout so I can edit the line and the halo (if any).
Is there a way to edit the callout without breaking it?
In the picture below:The top callout is in the wrong Place and I want to move it so it is like in the lower image.

I think you still can. Select the group, press F10 (same as the shape tool in toolbar) and you should be able to drag any of the nodes to a new place without ungrouping. But it will not work if you have previously broken the group apart and then regrouped.
Thank you for your answer.
I checked an older installation with Corel Designer X5 and there it works as expected. I didn't have any trouble moving the node and the halo followed with the line.
I did a repair of my X6 installation and rebooted. The Designer X6 is version 16.4.0.1280.
F10 shows or hides the grid in my installation.
When I select the callout it says: "Callout on Layer1" in the status line.
Yes I do use a newly created callout.
Please check the attached movie. Any help with this would be appreciated.

OK, I think your movie gives a possible clue to the problem.
In the view menu, there is a snap to option. Often, snap to objects is good to have -- it helps to ensure that lines terminate neatly on objects. But in your example it is interfering with what you are trying to do. But in your video, the snap is stopping you from terminating the callout where you want.
A fast answer is to turn off snap to objects. You should then be able to position the line wherever you want (though you may also need to turn off snap to grid if that is on).
But I think you actually want to move the end point to the outline -- in which case, keep snap to objects on and go instead to view > setup > snap. I think you will find that some of the options there are currently off. But if you turn on the options to snap to nodes, midpoint and edge, it will probably help you to do what you want more precisely.
Thank for your answer.
No, that wasn't the problem, it was much simpler.
I select the callout with the Pick tool and right click and choose Break callout link. Then I can move the tip without problem. I think this is a new thing in X6 so I didn't see it at first.
Thank you for your efforts.
