Transparency problem

Once again, please forgive me for being dumb. I'm trying to apply a radial transparency to a photo in corel draw. I'd like the edges of the photo to be transparent and the centre to be opaque but I can only get the opposite to work. How do I reverse the transparency gradient of a radial transparency? Many thanks in advance.  Andy.

  • click the edit transparency button, then in the dialogue box select the 'From' color and select black, then make the 'To' color white. this will make the outside edges of the object transparent. Corel's interactive visibility masking is so cool and easy to use. the masking in Illustrator is such a hassle, as are the gradients. unfortunately Adobe doesn't recognize the Corel transparency ... -sigh-
