Hello,
First post here. I searched for my question but couldn't find an answer. If I'm asking something that has been covered before, please direct me to the appropriate thread.
Ok, so what I'm trying to do is this: I have drawn an open curve. I have given the curve a somewhat thick outline to give it some definition. What I want to do is make a curve that follows/traces the outside edges of the outline and makes a curve that I can give a fill color to. In Illustrator this can be done by selecting your path, going to Object>Expand and you get a shape now instead of a line. If I can figure out how to do the same type of thing in Corel, that would be awesome.
Hope I've explained well enough what I am trying to do. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

Arrange > Convert Outline To Object (Ctrl+Shift+Q)
That was it! I had to search for the command, though. Found it under the Arrange menu; never would've thought to look there. And you were correct, the path of the object was left behind, but not a biggie to have to delete it. However, that is cool that X4 automatically deletes it...
Anyway, thanks so much for the help Paul!
Thanks Ahmad!
<Paul McGee> wrote in message news:66603@coreldraw.com...Convert outline to object, if I am interpreting your question correctly. If I recall X3 correctly, you will (usually) need to delete a line that is the "path" of the original object. That "path" is no longer there in X4, and my recollection of it from X3 may be wrong--it's been a long time.
