Temperamental Artists: I don't know, ever ask one why?
Burnout: Avoid burnout by love of work and a sense of accomplishment.
Creative Block: Look at someone else's work and see if you could duplicate it in your own fashion/method, learning a new trick or two along the way.
People without Taste: Patience and the fact that you have an eye for beauty that they can not see.....
Adobe Illy: Tell everyone that you do not us AI, but (as one on this forum stated, one time) that you use crayons and what difference does it make what tool you use as long as the end result is what the client wants to see.
In essence, it helps to have a sense of humor and a thick skin....

1 Why are artists so temperamental?
Cause clients are total idiots that want the world but complain when (if) they pay 90days later
2 How does one combat burnout?
Sex -- that's why I'm always crabby, not enough
3 How do you get around “creative block”?
Drugs -- Coffee, alcohol, pot., LSD if you must, Cocaine if you live in the US (needles and track marks aren't a good look, those drugs are strictly for suits)
4 How do you tactfully work with people that have little taste?
Rock and Roll -- turn the music up so you can't hear them.
I usually stand there put my fingers down my throat and pretend to vomit. (really do this) You need to laugh at them, you can say anything with good humor (see 1)

They have brains that are Macinwashed and Adobeified. It's not even worth trying to make them see life as it is. The only solution is an re-education camp, Foster runs those.
