The only option I see is vector fill but that does not solve the issue of having the artwork fir the to object fit all it does is fill. it will not taper as shown in the example
I did try making a custom brush similar to the example and assign it to a path but it not what your need.
Maybe there is a CDR script out that that can take a vector object tor fill pattern to fit, scale and taper to an object shape.
