Print half tones with Corel X7 and Smart Designer Pro

I want to print half tone/gradient transparency for a silk screen project.   I'm running Windows 8.1 and Corel Draw X7, using an Epson Artisan 1430.   Epson says it should print post script and that the drivers are included in the driver package.   I'm using using a Digital Art Solutions product called Smart Designer Pro in conjunction with Corel Draw.  When I click "Apply document halftone"  in Smart Design, I get the message  "You must select a post script printer driver for this feature to work".   When I go to the print window, in Corel, under the Separations tab. the Post Script options are already pre-selected and I can't change them.  I can't get to the Advanced setting in the Options area either.  The Digital Art tech group says it's a Corel issue.

Any suggestions,

Ed
