Occassionally the object properties in my object manager will dissappear and I am unable to bring them back. I have tried toggling all the buttons on the manager, restarting corel, resetting corel to it's default settings and restarting my computer but nothing will bring back the properties. It does not happen on every single file but it happens often enough to be a pain. Can someone please help me figure out why this is happening? I have attached a picture of what the object manager looks like. Thank you in advance!
The capture you have given shows the LAYER MANAGER (rightmost) icon depressed, and shows correctly, only the layers.
If you want to listthe objects it must not be depressed.
Hey Paul-
Thanks for the quick response. The object manager is very sporadic in the way that I can have that button depressed and it will still show the same screen shot as above. When the object manager fails to show the properties I always try to toggle the layer manager button on and off to get it to come back and it does not work. This also happens to other people in my art department and we are all using X3. Any other suggestions?
Sorry for bringing up old post, but I wanted to thank you for this too. I was puzzled over why it wasn't showing the objects!
When you open docker Object manager, on the right side on the top is the little black arrow. Click on it. See if its checked "Hide Object Properties"...
I suffer from this same problem all too often
Infact I am having this problem as I type and it is driving me crazy
It shows the layers but not what is on those layers
