Here's the scenario:
I have a block of paragraph text, it needs to stay paragraph text, fully justified because it will probably be changed many times by my customer.I need to scale it, and all other graphics on the page, vertically only, to around 95% of it's original size.I need the text to end up "squished".
CorelDraw X3 will scale the paragraph frame, but not the text. With the frame smaller, some of the text will disappear, falling out of the frame.
Illustrator (which I do not like) does not do this. If you scale the frame the text is in, the text scales with it appearing to be, as I said, "squished".If I change it to artistic text in CorelDraw, and then have changes (I always do), the text does not fit correctly into the area alloted for it, and the justification looks weird. Is there any way to get the text within the PARAGRAPH text frame to scale a certain percentage?Thanks,-Rob

Paul,
I have many graphic objects along with the text.I need to scale them all at once.
I may just have to convert to artistic text, but was hoping not to have to.
Thanks for the reply.
I've been told by the "powers that be" that I will have to change to Illustrator if I can't find a way to scale paragraph text, We don't want to have to convert to artistic text, and don't have to in Illustrator.I don't like Illustrator, and don't want to change, but will have to if I can't find a way to do this.
I've been ordered to replace CorelDraw with Illustrator if I can't find a way to scale paragraph text without having to convert it to artistic text.I don't like using Illustrator, but may end up having to switch.
Any more ideas are certainly appreciated.
Thanks
