I would like to try if i can combine pictures from my camera in Corel Photo-Paint.
My camera's takes - when enabling bracketing - a serie of 3 different pictures of the same object. These 3 pictures i want to merge.
I can not find in which menu/option of Photopaint i can do this. I searched on terms like Photomerge, stitching etc but can't find this option.
Where in the menu's can i do this ? And are there tutorials available?
I use a Dutch version of Photopaint but can try to translate menuoptionnames
Photo-Paint doesn’t have HDR capabilities, you will need AfterShot or another program that supports it like Lightroom. If you have CD2018 it comes with AfterShot 3 HDR.
I am not focussing on HDR.
I want to use it for image improvement.
Most HDR programs (AfterShot 3 HDR included) give the option to apply tone mapping or exposure fusion (it has a variety of names), not true HDR, to a set of bracketed images. If you don't want to use AfterShot HDR (which you should already have) then you could look at NikCollection HDR which is a relatively cheap alternative.
Unfortunately PhotoPaint doesn't have this ability built in, but Nik HDR used to work as a plugin for PP. It's been taken over by DXO now, so I don't know if this is still true (I have an older version).
Here's an article on exposure fusion: digital-photography-school.com/.../
Thank you for your help.
I see no Corel Aftershot installed on my PC. When starting the installationfile I can not choose Afterhot to be installed. Maybe it is not part of X8. I see Corel is not mentioning Aftershot as a separate product on their website.
I'll read your interesting article later.
