Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but im wondering what people generally use for photo management? At the moment, i have nothing more intuitive than a folder structure but am ideally looking for something that allows tags and catalogues of my images. I dont have the need for something as elaborate (or expensive) as Lightroom however.
I have nocied Corel Media One Starter and Plus on www.corel.com, so may download the trial of that.
Any other suggestions would be welcome :)
Picassa is decent. I personally use Lightroom and love it.
Corel offers Ulead Photo Imact Explorer.
If you have Draw X3, the now Adobe-absorbed RawShooter Essentials is on the CD. It is a good alternative but must be hacked to keep it from dialing home to a vacant house.
There are dozens of packages out there. Microsoft offers a program called ProPhoto that is a download for free that allows some advanced tagging features.
ACDsee has some value packages for around 50.00 USD that do the job too.
Hi Rick,
Many thanks for the info. Im personally not at the stage of Lightroom yet, but for photomanagement, it looks invaluable for a professional photographer.
Dont actually have Rawshooter Essentialls as I went from CD12 to X4 lol
Just found Prophoto 2 on the microsoft pro site, will give it a download and see how it performs :) ACDsee Photo Manager 2009 looks interesting and appears to offer the features I need.
DXO for RAW images. The best or one of the best RAW image processors. I'd say the best but I've been using it for a long time and haven't bothered with a recent comparison.

Sage for thumbnailing RAW and odd stuff.

Fast Picture Viewer, excellent for digging through 100s of images. Speed matters when you have a lot of images to process. That will also do thumbnails for RAW files.

For doing corrections that nothing else can manage in mere seconds, Luminar.

I'm using all of those but there might be some histrionics attached to Fast Picture Viewer as it was the only product that could render RAW files really fast on older hardware. Maybe that's not so important today on faster computers, depends on the number of RAW images you have to manage.
All have trials so you can give them a go. And none are disappointing.
I want to remove watermark on my image and video but it's too much time consuming. Any solution how i do this with in 1 2 minutes. seriale latimp is my blog and i want to add seriale latimp logo on all videos.
"watermark" means copyright. Then, if you don't want to use an image with watermark, you should buy it.
Removing manually is not a hard, job, really it takes just a few seconds and you can add a shortcut since it's not about the Clone tool, it's just about two commands, but unfortunately it's not legal
