This issue has got to be fixed. I have a brand new machine, corel x8 subsription and all updated drivers (AMD FireFro W5170M). Copy and Paste takes 10 seconds to work and the paste function stopped working all together with my e-mails which is frustrating as I depend on that to bring copy into my files.
The problem seemed to be fixed until I plugged my laptop into my display monitors...since then the C&P function is useless even after I unplug my laptop from external displays.
I've wasted days on this issue and it's the simplest function. Copy and freaken Paste, come on!
Back to Illustrator unfortunately
Apparently the Outlook desktop app isn't compatible with copy and pasting images and copy into Corel. It works if I open Outlook in my browser which is annoying...
I know it doesn't help you, but I've just esily C&Ped a moderate bitmap from Outlook 2016 into both Draw and PP 2018...
Could it be a display/driver issue?
the delay only happens whe copy from Outlook or on all situations? That means, if you select an object or image on your document, copy/paste it also takes several seconds? And if you copy/paste from any browser such as Chrome or Firefox?
Have you checked your antivirus settings?
No, sorry the delay always happens. It started with Corel x7. I've purchase a new machine and have upgrade to a subscription of corel x8 hoping it is fixed. Copy and Paste still lags......5-8 seconds. At first, It seemed the upgrade to x8 worked until I plugged into my external displays. Now the C&P function lags whether or not I'm plugged in.
I've used corel for 15 years and this issue is the most crippling I've run into. I avoid using the simple function.
The Copy and Paste doesn't work at all in my desktop outlook app. I'll look into my firewall/AV settings. If I open outlook in my browser Copy and paste works fine.
That seems to confirm that is caused by any security option or other software. I could copy/paste from Outlook (Office 2010) under WIndows 10 to CorelDRAW X7 and newest in less than one instant.
