I currently have my default palette set to RGB when I start a new document, as my default palette in my drawing desktop, etc. However, when I get to certain palette drop downs, it still defaults to Pantone colors. How do I correct this to have all palette options (drop downs, etc.) default to RGB? In the image below I am changing the color of all the lines in a table. It happens in other instances, too--such as changing the color of an outline within the Outline Pen box.
I appreciate any help!
Lisa
There is one thing you can try (not that I think it helps because I see the same thing you do, now and then):You want the RGB palette to be your default, right? At the top (beginning) of the open palette you will find a small arrow.Click and choose Set As Default.Maybe you have done this already and maybe it doesn't help, but it's worth a try.
Hey Ronny,
I have tried everything to make my default Palette stick.
Some times the drop down will be correct and other times it seems to randomly choose whatever it wants.
See my above post.
For me this has been going on for a few versions now, I don't know whether it is my system or if others experience this problem.
Would be nice to have it fixed.
I have had no issues with this when creating new documents. HOWEVER if the new document is an RGB primary color document and I add a CMYK color the next time I use the dialog it remember what I last used.
I work in CMYK, the only things that might be added to the mix are an RGB bitmap.
it seems similar to this other post:

Thanks Ariel, I'll give that a go. My default palette is very customised and contains some spot colours.
I'll post my findings in this thread for future reference.
You can use the palette you want. Do not stop publishing the result, I am interested to know if you have achieved it.
