Hi, i am new to Corel Draw (i draw a lot in Illustrator and Affinity Designer), and i found that i can aply to a TEXT only a flat Colour. and if i want to add a "Fountain fill" etc., i have to convert the Text to curvs (maybe i mistaking).
So, my first requst is simple:

I found thaht its very easy to aplly "Trancparency" to an object, but i didnt see an option just for "Tint" (to lighten and darken the colour, without Trancparen background) like i see in other graphic aplications.
So, please ad a "Thint Slider", to give the ability to aply how Dark \ Light the colour should be (i know that its possible and easy to do that in Draw, but it will be a good idea if it will be more "Easyer" and "Official"... see image).
And don't forgot about my Effects reqest...

For CMYK or RGB, by default we need the CMYK or RGB values, but you can use as "tint" anyway, on the Color Styles docker (Ctrl+F6). Add a color as new style, then choose "create gradient", for example 10 shades lighter (you can modify it later)
Thanks Arial! looks like it will take a litle time to learn all triks in Corel Draw.
But about my second requst: It will be a great idea if we will have a Tint Slider, to can aplly Tint easely, and also for RGB and CMYK without having to create a gradient, and not only for Spot color.
And it should be available every place we want to edit a color, the same like we have a Trancparency Slider (see image for example).
This is just a small "Time Saving" request. But, Draw is great anyway...

And about your request: Yes, I understand your proposal. Imagine that you have an object with "Green" fill (C:100, M:0 Y:100 K:0), if you press and hold over the swatch of the color palette you'll see the shades of the selected color.
If you want to manually create a lighter shade, select the object and Ctrl + click over the "White" swatch of the color palette. If you want darker shades, Ctrl + click over the last swatch of the CMYK color palette (C100 M100 Y100 K100). Each Ctrl + click will create a lighter or darker tone
As you already know by now, tint is only available with spot colors.Any color can be converted to a spot color, though.Double click a color swatch in a palette (preferably without anything selected) to bring up the Palette Editor.Select a color swatch and select Spot from the "Treat as" dropdown. Save the palette.I do not recommend that you change the fixed palettes.There is one more way to change the "tint" for a color, except the ones Ariel has already told you about:Select the object, then go to Effects > Adjust > Hue/Saturation/Lightness (or any other active command from that submenu) and adjust the sliders in the dialog.Not exactly what you asked for but it is a pretty cool feature, and it can be used on multiple objects at once, also with groups, bitmaps and lots of other things.

You can tint any object fill with any other colour by clicking the 'other colour' swatch in the palette whilst holding Ctrl. That adds 10% of that colour to the existing fill.
