Just upgraded to 2018 from X6. I can not find how to access the Fountain fill presets, like "Conical - Gold or Cylinder - Blue" that I used frequently in X6. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Here's a link to an X5 document with samples of the fill presets: CorelDRAW X5 Fountain Fill Presets - X5.cdr.
It looks like this:
Open that in a newer version of CorelDRAW, and you can do as you wish with the fountain fills. You can save fills as assets in the current fill format, use the Attributes Eyedropper to copy the fill from a sample object and apply it to other objects, use drag-and-drop to copy the fill from a sample object and apply it to other objects,...
Thank you, Eskimo. This is a great workaround. I can't figure out why Corel eliminated them in CD2018.
There are a lot of fills available from the Content Exchange using the Connect docker or the Connect application. For all I know, it might be the case that fills similar to the fountain fill presets from earlier versions are present there; I haven't looked.
There are also a couple of packs of fills available at no cost through the "Get More" thing.
