Any object which is outside of the page is visible and available for all the pages which was the common behavior till the CorelDraw 2018, but not in the CorelDraw 2019, to make it possible we have to drag the object in the object docker to the desktop section at the bottom, in this case, the productivity gets lost, Please fix this issue as soon as possible.

Smiles! I was having same experience before I stumbled on the answer. Something I noticed is that Corel changed many icons, menus, and function from the usual positions and that has caused me a lot of time trying to figure out where to find what. In order to see desktop objects across all pages without dragging the object through the object docker is>>> 1. Open object docker 2. click on the setting icon on top 3. uncheck the item Keep Desktop Objects on Layer
Enjoy!
Wait until you start getting files from users built a different way or work in a multi-user environment with documents with 30 or more pages! :-)
I personally prefer to have "Keep Desktop Objects on Layer" enabled, because I don't want objects to jump uncontrolled between layers. There is also a risk when working with multiple pages with different size, that objects may jump in x or y direction so they don't end up inside the drawing area after switching to another page.So for me, they should stay where they are until I move them manually. But there is an easy way to move them to the Desktop even with this setting enabled: A macro. The following very simple code moves selected object(s) to the Desktop layer, and it can preferably be executed via a shortcut key or a button in a toolbar.Select object, execute. Done.Sub Move_to_Desktop_layer() Dim OrigSelection As ShapeRange Set OrigSelection = ActiveSelectionRange OrigSelection.MoveToLayer ActivePage.DesktopLayerEnd SubGive it a try.
Sorry to resurrect this from a couple months ago, but the comments below simply do not work. I am in the 2019 trial version right now. Cannot justify updating if I can't figure this one out. If I drag an object to the empty space outside the canvas, I need it there on all pages. That's the purpose of that space, a common's area for objects I want access too from page to page. I have unchecked this option, then drug my object to outside of the canvas, still disappears when switching pages...?
