Hello,
I recently updated to 2019 from X8. I am having some font issues. The font I use for all of our drawings is the Roboto Condensed family from Google. When I open an existing drawing, or even try to type new with Roboto Bold selected, I get a bunch of gibberish .This is how it is supposed to look vs what is happening https://imgur.com/a/LNSQFpS
Previously, I had a problem with the same font. It would show Roboto Regular as Roboto Thin in preview mode, but would display correctly in wireframe?! I have had this problem with other Google fonts in corel as well. I removed Roboto thin from my fonts and this solved the problem.
I tried the same approach here but have been unsuccessful. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated, as I am at my wits end. Thank you!
Is Roboto installed in Windows, or is it uninstalled and in a folder monitored by Corel Font Manager? No idea if it makes a difference but it could be worth trying to install and see if it helps.Apart from that I suspect that the font may not follow all the rules for how a font should be built.
Hi Ronny,
Thanks for getting back. I actually did not install Corel Font Manager to eliminate a variable. This is just loaded on the system. I may reinstall with CFM and see if I have the same issue. Thanks!
Please let us know how it works.
Thanks guys! The problem fixed itself and I am not sure what happened. Thank you!
