In CorelDraw 2019 Windows (Windows 10 x64) version not working the snap to guidelines funcition with grouped objects.
You have snap to guidelines turned on (this is not on by default) and it still does not work? Can you provide a few more details on what you are seeing?
Snap to guidelines turnded on.
Try to group more obejcts (pictures, text, curves), snapping sometimes works, sometimes not.
Try this cdr file:
- in Corel2018 works fine the snap to gudelines function,
- n Corel2019 not working the snap to gudelines function.
Test cdr file saved in 2018 format

I also observe that this is not working correctly.
I can confirm. Text within the group snaps fine, but other objects dont and the overall group doesn't.
I do recall something similar happening in an earlier version too. Snap has, over the last decade become much less reliable than it used to be.
When selecting several objects in 2019, only the object at the bottom of the stack snaps to guidelines. If the objects are grouped however, it only snaps to the topmost object in the group.Wonder how they managed to create this very peculiar effect? In my opinion, snapping worked almost perfectly in 2018, sad that they had to break it.
Good spot Ronny. Will you report it?
So funny: snap to guidelines function in some situations not working in latest Corel2019 and in latest PhotoshopCC... Snap to guidelines daemons infected both systems
Not funny: I have to keep older versions (Corel2018 and Photoshop CS6) to manage some subtasks
I think Corel already knows about the snapping bug, but maybe not how it works when grouped vs. ungrouped. Will notify them.0923
I think Corel needs to look at their grouping logic in general. I reported similar problems in Corel Photo-Paint 2018 forum and I confirmed that the problems are still there in 2019 (at least in the last trial version I downloaded). I never received any meaningful response to my concerns in the forum. Corel has some strange behaviour related to the z-order of grouped objects and it seems to be manifesting itself in different functions.

I tested both of these in the 2019 trial and they were still happening. I confirmed that both problems are related to grouping and z-order.
