I really have no words for what Corel has done here this is worst of the worst software I have ever seen it is if they released the Alpha and not even Beta version of the software.
There are so many plus slow processing and the BOOM gone. Almost all image processing is disconnected from macros. Many image processing tools such as gamma and blur that are critical to pros are disfunctional. Some image effects produce a different result than the previews. It is a long list.
The list of irritating things is too long but the most irritating is the random page changes and the disappearing display. Then the fact that every time you go to an area that you've not used before you find a new bug or something they've missed when recoding.
Oh man, I am testing allot today I am speechless. Wireframe view poof worthless, switch between pages and things not on that page does not show when you are on other pages. Wham BAM Corel has dropped the vase, and it has broken into a thousand pieces.
The real issue with keep desktop objects on layer is the way it's been implemented, it's on by default, you can't open multiple files in multiple modes, there is no warning if you open a file in the wrong mode so you can open a clients file and it may or may not display as they intended. What were they thinking? The one aspect of professional desktop publishing is that you can always open a file as the client intended. CorelDRAW 2019 left the true desktop publishing world behind!
The problem is that it is an old request of many people, some perhaps from the world of Illustrator, who usually leave the content off the sheet. It is a very useful function to move an object from one page to another, faster than copying and pasting if it is a complex object. The mistake is to make the content off the page. I have seen banners of 8x3 meters made on an A4 sheet (which is the default size) instead of changing the page size. If you have more than one page, when you change the page, what is on the outside automatically goes to the "desktop" layer (in previous versions, even with a single page, which has already been passed to the desktop) that does not printable layer. Therefore, it is not exported either.CorelDRAW's concept was, from its origin, a drawing sheet on a desk, imitating as much as possible the real world. It is assumed that if you draw, you do it on the sheet, not on the table.
Ever seen oneof these that is where it all started. The entire table was designed to draw on.
I still have one in storage
took a chain saw to mine.
