Sure hope it's MUCH BETTER than 2019 (Update 3)!
Email link access denied - how do you actually download it?
Has anybody actually managed to download it!!! and if yes how did they do it?
Yes suppose that is an approach - except I did that a few versions ago and had all sorts of problems getting the Trial version to accept the serial number. I think I will want until it's sort.
Well that's great! Today I had time the rest of the week is busy making money, TOO PAY FOR MY CORELDRAW UPGRADE PROTECTION!
Just contacted support - server error it will be 24 to 48 hours for the fix to be applied

it's the coronavirus.
I just tested my PDF files and they have PDF export working in 2020.
You would have thought that after 2019 someone in management would have made sure that they knew that those who screwed up this release of 2020 would need to leave the company and maybe even their home!
It appears that custom dodge and burn tools in Photo-PAINT are back in the game after a long absence in 2019.
However the Corel Font manager is still a slow dog in the race, in Draw set it to installed and system fonts and turn of the display.
Templates work better and resolve the uselessness of the new document dialog. In a multiuser environment it's easy to set a shared network folder for templates and the templates retain outline position settings, color modes and models, grid and other settings so you can work web, cmyk print and rgb print much more easily. I create a template and put the labeling large on the first page and save it to a network folder.
I see that stupid keep desktop objects on layer features is stil the deafult, multipage users need to know that and make adjustments.
I will dig into the objects docker, the pixel work flow and non destructive effects features later as the grandchildren are here now.
I do not see 2020 as any faster than 2019 nor for me are there any stability changes so far.
Unfortunately CorelDRAW is still a program that is some assembly required, I used to call it a nerd world program and it still is.
I expect to set up color management, but to have to actually build templates to get web, RGB print and press functionality, that's a bit much those features should dump straight out of the new document dialog.
Where are and what are any new features in 2020? Do they work? Were they executed in a useful manner?
The most noticeable new feature I see on the features list is support of OpenType Variable Fonts. It also looks like CDR 2020 supports live, in-application adjustments of variable font type objects based on available axis in the fonts, be it weight, width, slant, optical size, serif to sans serif or anything else built into the variable font. Adobe Illustrator has already had this capability. OTF Variable also reminds me of the old Type 1 Multiple Master standard. OTF Variable is similar but supports much larger character sets.I'm hoping the webinar Thursday morning will provide a better demo of other features.
