Don't know what has happened here but lately I can not insert any images, hyperlinks or other stuff into a post when using Firefox.Nothing happens when I click the buttons to insert Media or Smilies, and if I click Paste from Word, Insert/Edit Link or Insert New Table for example, I get a white ribbon across the screen with a text saying something like "{#table dlg.title}".Anyone else seeing this?Using Windows 8.1, 64-bit and Firefox 34.0Working fine when doing the same thing from Internet Explorer.
Hm, strange.I tried cleaning the cache and now there are no colors in the editor any more. ???I also think I know why this {#... thing happens:In my attempts to get a decent workflow when checking forums of interest (now that NNTP support has been removed [:(]) I found that I could create a folder in the Bookmarks Toolbar, and then add forums of interest to that folder (I have two folders with seven forums each).I could then use the command to open all bookmarks in a folder into separate tabs, which allows me to rather easily browse these seven forums for new posts witouth jumping back and forth.Unfortunately when doing this, some things are not updating correctly inside each forum, and one of these things seems to be the use of rich formatting. Most things in the editor work but some buttons don't.So I guess the workaround for the workaround will be to close some tabs before editing posts. [:S](look I can use emoticons [:D] [Y])But what happened to the colors?
The insert link dialogue ground to a complete halt a few hours ago. I suspect that may have been a side effect of the indexing going on at the time.
It seems to be working again now.
The grey appearance is companies blindly following microsoft idiocy without consideration of user wishes. I'm not sure if the awful greyness in this case is Corel's doing or Telent or TinyMCE but either way we need to stand up firmly against the use of grey for text and icons. Legibility and usability are far more important than blindly following fashion.
Please, no more grey -- unless it is for disabled items.
