Will X4 export to the PES format? I saw on the Corel site that the X3 pro suite was supposed to PES format natively, but I can't find any such format in the X4 suite. I'm not certain I want to pay $2k for the "professional" embroidery product Corel has (!), and the reviews on the separate software that does PES conversions (I think it's called "DRAWings" or some such) aren't all that good.
So.... Anyone know if DRAW can do PES, or if there's a converter out there?

Russ, as Hugh explained, you seem to be a little confused.
.pes is an embroidery file format.
Graphics software of any kind, including Corel, won't export to that format.
That being said, both Drawings and Corel/Wilcom Deco Studio or Embroidery Studio e1, will allow you to convert your vector graphic to stitches and export to an embroidery file.
Corel X4 won't do this alone (neither will X3) You need to buy Deco or ES ............both of which come bundled with Corel.
Or, if you prefer, Drawings, which is now a stand-alone program.

I mentioned DRAWings explicitly in my first posting, stating the reviews on it aren't good. Hence, I noted it wasn't an option, even if I could get it in the US--which apparently I can't. As for the Deco product, I also mentioned that in my first post--it costs $2000, and I don't have $2000 laying around for a simple on the side hobby.
In short, what it comes to is this: Corel doesn't have any product that will compete with the Floriani product, for instance. There's nothing that Corel makes, or works directly with, in the $250 to $300 space for doing embroidery work.
