I had CoreDraw Graphics Suite XI installed on Windows 7 and upgraded to Windows 10. I have tried various compatibility modes and the compatibility mode for Windows 7 seems my best option. The programme appears to run and work fine except for two things. I cannot see the file menu bar letters until I hover my mouse over them*. I can live with that. However, the Aquire by scanner option is greyed out. Using Control Q doesn't work either. I do a very lot of scanning directly into Draw so I would like to get that working again if possible. Has anyone figured out a registry hack or a setting somewhere that might work to get the Aquire by TWAIN option working? Your advice will be appreciated.
Kind regards
Chris
* In XP compatibility mode I can see the file menu bar letters but the work space flashes blue every time I click my mouse on it which is unacceptable.
Not sure Windows 10 supports TWAIN.
Something has changed...... I can't acquire an image in PP32 or 64 using TWAIN or WIA!!!! I get exactly the same as you and PP freezes. I hadn't noted this because I normally use Silverfast as my front end and scan from there. i CAN use EpsonScan, save the images and open them in PP.. PSPX8 does work correctly with TWAIN... Maybe someone from Corel can explain what's happened. Apologies for misleading you.
