I would like to add a white highlight to the eye of one of my images like the one in this image......so that it is white in the middle then gently fades to black without having a line around the edge........been trying to do it but can't get the same effect
I use radial transparency + drop shadow (small glow)
Another trick:
Draw a white circle (no outlined).
Convert it to Bitmap.
Go to: BITMAP > BLUR > GAUSSIAN BLUR... (set Radius as you wish).
PS.: Your little monster is well done!
Silvio Win said:Convert it to Bitmap.
If the artwork is small, and the part you want to apply the effect is relatively small, converting to bitmap is more straightforward.
Thanks guys!
Silvio it's not my monster (I wish) it's a Disney character.....just posted it as an example of how I want to highlight the eyes on my characters
This is the beauty of this software, isn't it? There are so many different ways to do one single task and then use the one that best suits you!
FYI, even blend tool can be used to get similar effect. See attached cdr file.
Thanks Pratik
or you could use a radial fill...
