I've got this weird thing going with CorelDraw X5 after applying the SP2 patch. When I click the Restore Down Button (in-between the Minimize and Close button in the top right hand corner of the application window) on a fully maximized CorelDraw X5 instance, the program closes instantly. This does not happen in Photo-Paint X5. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm running Windows XP SP3 with all the latest patches. Weird. Just plain weird.
Thanks,
Rich

Rich,
I can confirm this shutdown behavior on a similarly configured Windows XP installation, a shutdown that occurs whether there is an open file or not. Odd indeed. Will test a Win 7 - 64 bit machine tonight.

Bill,
Phew. For a minute there I thought I'd lost it. LOL Thanks for confirming.

Ted,
The F8 reset worked for me. Thanks.
Still, what Rich and I experienced is an odd outcome.
Well, I held down the F8 key while starting X5 and that worked. Clicking the Restore Down button did not cause CD X5 to shutdown at all and it worked as it should. Now why was there an issue in the first place. I wasn't the only one who was having the problem. Anyone from Corel have any suggestions?
Thanks again Ted for the suggestion.
Cheers,
