Export is weird, maintain size is checked but it dose not give the proper size.
My page size is 922x1344, but the image exported is half that size.
Thanks

Had you bothered reading the thread properly you may have noticed that Ariel's statement was a question for clarificaion of the size of the image size units.
If you want to ask a question, please use a new Thread. The site also has a search feature and you you may find that your question has be asked and answered before.

Sorry if my question seems stupid for you. I can't see trough your mind, and I have no mental vidence. Some people works on pixels (for web, for example), other people works on millimeters, other works on inches (according the country), others on meters (for plotters, for example), and more. So, how do you suppose that I can know it? telepathy? I believe that before to say an answer i must to know the problem, it's no serious if I talk about millimeters and you work on pixels, for example. If I do this question is for interest on help you and trying to solve your problem.
And about your question, the answer is: Yes, I have exported hundreds, thousands of JPG files before ask such a stupid question. For this reason I did this question.

Again... meters or pixels?
kjub said:you give in 1200x800 PIXELS ... than give export (jpg/png I tried both ) ... exported size is 1204x802 PIXELS
The original post say:
asterix said:My page size is 922x1344, but the image exported is half that size.
1204 is not the half of 1200, as far on my country. But now, you say:
kjub said: I have background set to 1200x800 have a jpg that is 2000x500
once again, the results is wrong but 2000 is not the half of 1200
So, are you talking about the same problem or it's a different problem? Sorry, I see that you don't want more questions, it's only to explain that if you are unable to do a good question, we can't do a right answer.
kjub said:you press NEW > ctrl+N .... you give in 1200x800 PIXELS ... than give export (jpg/png I tried both ) ... exported size is 1204x802 PIXELS
Well, I do a test (once again) for you, altough you say "no one is interested ... " (If I have not interest, I have other things to do...). I pressed ctrl+N as you ask, and I have a page of 1200x800 pixels. create a rectangle with the same size, export as JPG, choose RGB and don't touch anything (resolution is set to 300 dpi). Open the JPG file with Photoshop (a non-Corel software) and the result is... 1200x800 pixels, 300 dpi.
but... if you have an OUTLINE around your background... the size will change, of course. A "default outline" (0.5 points, 0.2 mm or whta you use) will produce a rectangle of 1204x804 pixels. Then, have you tried to export your background without an outline around, before to post your question?. Don't worry, I believe that never a question is "stupid", or irrelevant. Maybe I am mistaken, I've been wrong many times, I am not perfect nor pretend to be. But I believe that the outline can be a good explanation.

Maybe we must see the original file for a right answer, but perhaps there's an object outside the page. Select all objects and check the size.

if the background is empty, the exported object will be the bitmap only. if you want to export the entire page, create a rectangle with the same size (double click over the rectangle tool is a fast way to create it) use white color or other for Fill, WITHOUT AN OUTLINE.
If the object was bigger than the page, you can crop it easy, using the recatngle as Powerclip container (select the object, go to effects / powerclip/place inside container.... and select the background). If you don't want to center on the page, disable the option "center automaticaly new powerclip contents" under Tools/ options / workspace / edit. Perhaps you already know this, but this message can also help other users who read the post and want to do the same or have the same problem.
