Hi All,
Love Corel, but only know the basics I guess.
I have used a bevel effect on a company name for a banner (3m x 1m). When I publish it to .pdf the bevel effect is extremely pixilated. I have made the bitmaps (in .pdf settings) 600dpi to try and help, but this does nothing.
I can only use .pdf on our printer RIP....
please help!
Thanks in advance.
Thanks Ronny,
This site is GREAT!! thanks... will give it a go.
We use Raterlink Pro too!
Have all sorts of issues with InDesign .pdf's .... but that's another story!
Hello again,
Just checked the rendering res on page layout, and it's set at 300dpi?
I tried it at 600dpi and still the same? i have the res in the .pdf settings at 600 hoping this may help too.
How do I flatten before sending to the RIP?
Yes, I use acrobat level 5 as well - smaller files and the effects seem to work better.
Thanks again.
I don't mean to offend. But after one too many publisher files today this is all I could think of when I read this thread.
I spend too much time on Imgur.
Carry on.

Have you tried breaking your bevel apart from the guide text just before export? That way it becomes a stand alone object with a set resolution.
DON'T save it that way. Do it just before export only.
Hi Mike, still the same result... :-(
