What is the Minimum extrude facet size?

Open options window from menu Tools>Options (or shortcut Ctrl+J)

Go Workspace area and select Edit. 

There are some  options for users. And tehere is Minimum extrude facet size . What is it? How it use?

    From the 'Help' function:

    extrusion

    A feature that lets you apply a three-dimensional perspective by projecting lines from an object to create the illusion of depth.
    The minimum is what you would set it at so that your 3D image will not go lower than what you want.  Mine is set at .05", but you can use whatever you wish.
