I prints photos with some text overlaid, like title of image, copyright etc.
I select all objects and save the design then print, and sometimes only the text prints! the image/photo does not print.
well that is kind of annoying to have a 12x36 panorama canvas with only the text and not the picture, since the canvas is ruined and costs about $12 a print.
anyone else have this happen and suggestions to fix the problem? Thanks!
A possible reason you should watch out for is if you had the "selected items" option turned on and the selection did not include the missing image. But a print preview would have shown this and is therefore a useful habit to get into.
My guess though is that you did not do that, but the printer may not have enough memory to handle the whole job. Or, perhaps, that the job is using effects such as transparency which perhaps the printer does not support.
Is the problem consistent -- do some designs always work and other never work without alteration? Does the printer itself (or the printer driver) have a preview function and does this show the same omissions?
