Somehow my dockers started displaying in two columns side-by-side, where they used to be all on top of one another. Nothing I've tried has resulted in my getting it back the old way. Can someone please tell me what I did and how to reverse it?
Thanks,
Ellen
Hello ellenelle; There's always the F8 trick if you want to start over and rebuild your work space from scratch.

Thanks, but I'm really hoping there are other ways!
setting docker positions is just weird. They is no information , that I have found, in help or the big book or anywhere as how to set them the way you want them.
If you have one open and stick it to the edge of the work area then open another and drag it to the same spot . It might, might end up with it's own tab and you can open and close either. OR it might become part of the first dockers tab. Sort of a "sub file" . The best way I have found is to first roll up all the dockers on the edge of the workspace. Then drag the one you want to add in to the edge and stick it to the bottom of the box that shows all the rolled up dockers. You will see a line when they are going to be their own docker and not part of a subgroup. Then you can unroll all or as many as you want to work with with out having to launch them from the toolbar.
