I am trying to powerclip glass jpg into this , but it shows it powerclipped but no color. What am I doing wrong. Thanks
There are two possible reasons, from what I can see:You can only powerclip properly into closed objects. It is only possible to powerclip into multiple objects if they are grouped together.
In this case I'd create a circle, same size as the outer circle, and powerclip into it. Then put it behind all other objects. There are other solution as well, but this is probably the easiest one.
Please come back if you need alternative solutions.
How do I close the separate sections. I would like to be able to put different colors in the different sections. Thanks
Start by trying the smart fill tool. Most of those areas will fill with it without needing to edit your current design. You then only need to investigate the areas which do not smart fill -- probably due to a small gap.
Once you have smart filled an area, you will be able to assign a fill colour to it. You may then (optionally) delete your original lines.
Thanks, I tried the smart fill and that worked but I would still have to power clip it that edit it and drag my jpg over to get it to show up. Not sure if it has to do with me running it on Win 8 or not. Michael
Its probably nothing to do with windows 8.
What is glass.jpg, and where do you want to see it?
