Hello,
i really need some help please [:)]
I use Corel Draw to convert images into PLT format for my engraving machine to read.
yesterday i attempted to make an image, ready to engrave, but corel draw is only creating an 'outline', and not a full image. (see iamge below) . How can i make it save the iamge with full colour?????? thanks
Foot Print.cdrHello flo1234; It looks to ME like you have a raster of a foot print. the first thing I would do is Trace the graphics, and delete the box background. then I would weld ever thing left. dress up the drawing as you want it. color if you want. Here is a left & Right foot print that came from some place.

Hi Myron,
i have been converting jpegs to PLT format for 7 years, it's the only thing i do on Corel Draw, i have no experience of anything else graphic wise. It has always worked, until yesterday when i had a bug on my computer and had to reload CD.
so i take a jpeg, convert to bitmap, then trace the bitmap using 'outline trace', 'quality logo', then save as a plt. This has always given me an image that is 'complete' i.e. it retains the detail in the middle of the image, the 'colour', has always been there and the engraving machine engraved accordingly. Now something has happened to the settings and I'm not experienced enough to figure it out [:'(]..........
