Hi there,
Is there any chance to make QR Codes with CorelDraw X5 or X4? Or is there any third party product that works well with the X5/X4 or even separate software but saves EPS.
Any suggestion is welcomed, but no online generators please.
You can try: http://sourceforge.net/projects/zint/
QR codes are becoming a big thing nowadays... don't you think?
That`s true, especially with these new gadgets. Thank you for your link, I will try this when i get home. it looks promising so far.
Thank you!
I checked out it has many features but the QR code part has to be improved. You cannot create vCards or other different types of QR codes.
What is great, that it has possibility to save as vector file (separate blocks but it works).
So i`m still searching for QR code generator, it is not necessary to be a free software, because if it suites for our purpose than we will buy.
When I use the online QR Code generators and download the PNG I cannot import that into Corel. It comes in as a solid black square.
If I open it in Gimp and change the MODE from indexed to RGB then everything is fine, but that is an extra step I'd rather not perform.
Any suggestions?
that does not seem right ew-mail me the PNG and I'll work it out.
Here is an example QR Code
And here is a screenshot
If the simple answer is that you have a QR Code generator that you use (that works), I'm happy to switch. I just tried the first couple that came up when I searched via Google.
E-mail me the PNG and I'll try the import, davidmilisock@graphictechnology.com

This on line one works well, import PNG, trace and then you can put it on billboards if needed.
You can generate them with about a million on line sites import into CorelDRAW and convert to curves and to CMYK if needed.
Now you can create QR Code directly from CorelDraw, but the X6 only accepted the appeal.Check out this post that released this week.
See vedeo I prepared with the installation and some functions. If tehas difficulty withthe language, just translate.
