Win 7 did some updates. Now I am unable to run CorelDraw GS X5. dialolg box says; "Unable to load coreldrw.dll. Error code: 193
Anyone experienced this recently? Better yet got a fix?
Thought I'd check here prior to doing another install. I have deleted Temp files to no avail.
UPDATE: Rather than do a complete re-install of CorelDraw Graphics Site X5 I tried reinstalling the SP3 and Hot Fix 4. DONE DEAL!
Still maintained my Recent list and all.....
Thanks George for your reply.

Hello Rod; Keep in mind that Corel is a 32 bit program, but you can hold down the "F8" key while starting Corel it will reset it to a factory out of the box state. ( That might work )
George
Tried that with absolutely no joy! Appreciate the reply. Most likely will have to do an uninstall/install. Hate that when it happens!
Sorry to bump this, but had the same error with Corel X5.
Applied SP3 and the hotfix, everything works!
Thanks Rod!
No reason to apologise. That would be very useful information to somebody else who has the problem.
Surely you have installed some malicious software. A browser toolbar, most probably. Check for the addon toolbars in your browser's addon manager and disable it. Also you may have to uninstall it from 'Add Remove Programs'. I know a few that mess up DRAW are SearchQU and Ilivid.

Edit :
Some users get Error code : 998 but the file CorelDrw.dll is common.
@Anand,
That's the weird thing about this. I restored my PC with a 'snapshot' to a clean state when COREL was freshly installed. And it suddenly refused to work. (really weird).
I tested the 'Snapshot' before and Corel worked perfectly then but now when restoring the snapshot corel errored...
It's fixed (at least for now) ... and HarryLondon, thanks!
Thanks!
