Hi!I can't find any solution without using plugins. Is there a way to make patterns (repeat symbol) along paths? Something like using Artistic Media > Brush, but I'd like it to repeat symbol. It's possible and simple in illustrator, but in work I have to use Corel Draw.I need to make something like that:http://qdlaty.webd.pl/obrazki/border.jpgI can't use line style, because the pattern is too complex. ;/Please, help me if you know the solution.EDIT: Those symbols have to be smooth, so Foster's solution isn't that good...
Hello jamqdlaty; Why not just a doted line?

Because this is topographic sign for country borders and I just need to use this one. : /I'm making vector version of some drawn historical map.
You can get the pattern to bend around curves more easily if you make it into an Artistic Media brush (as opposed to a spray list). The key is to break apart the curve you applied it to so that it repeats the brushstroke more often. Also converting any lines of your brushstroke object to curves will make it bend more smoothly around curves. The following may help you understand what I mean:

I've got to draw few long, complicated lines with that and they have to be in the same scale. Using your method i would have to calclulate length of every border I need to draw and make special brush for them.Possibly there will be even more maps to remake in work.I think I'll just make it in illustrator at home, save as high quality bmp and livetrace in Corel. :/But anyway, thank you Patti, it looks like this is the easiest method and If I won't have possibility to make it in ill and somehow import in Corel, I'll use this method.

Did you try fitting a blend to a path? It seems to work perfectly for what you require. I have used a macro to speed up the process, but the macro is applying a standard CorelDraw blend and fit blend to path:
In case anyone had issues seeing the video in my previous post ..... I just did some testing and the video:

What is BDQuickTasks? Is it in CorelDRAW x5 or is it a plugin? Where can I get it from?Google can't find anything when I search for "bdquicktasks"I don't even have steps in standard Blend options, not even mentioning fitting it to a path.OK, I've got something like this:Rotating is strange and, of course, there is just ( o ) overlappling curve. Did you make white object under ( o )? I can't do that, I don't know what background will I use yet.
