Bad News on the Fotosketcher site

Hi Everybody,
As MikeWe pointed out, the large green buttons do not download
FotoSketcher. They download a pile of junk.

.. WORSE YET !!!!

The one that I and probably Giulio pressed also downloads malicious
software !
Apparently, most anti-virus programs can not detect this particular malware
or virus. My Norton 360 did not detect it during a full scan.
A PSP guru on the PSP photography forum posted that about the only
application which will detect this particular malicious software is called
MALWAREBYTES ($25). I bought it and just ran it.
MALWAREBYTES detected and deleted 42 malicious files and registry
entries. All started with the prefix "pup.options".
The internet has become as dangerous as the real world.

    Did you try the free version of Malwarebytes? I have not had any issues with the free version when I have popped over to somone's place to clean their computer. It's always cleaned them.

    By the way, unless you looked at the time stamps on the PUPs, it is possible some were from previous infections. I see them when cleaning people's computers all the time that have been present for quite some time.
