Hello,
When I select an object, click the apply button in the tranformations dock to copy the object, I can then nudge the object up or down with the arrow keys, but when I press either of the left or right arrow keys, my cursor wanders around in the transformation dock values instead of moving the object.
This never happened in previous versions...is there a fix or control setting I've missed?
Thanks!
Hello melcoats; Are you able to post the file?
George
Hi George,
Don't see an attach link on the toolbar.....
melcoats it's done per screen shot.
Sorry George,
The upload says the file type is not allowed and sending a screen shot won't exactly convey the type of function issue I have.
Guess I'll just have to learn not to use the arrow keys to move my copied objects.
Thanks,
Mel
you do need to go here to post a file
what file format are you trying to post? It does work with CDR files if they aren't to large, if they are you'll need to use a drop box and post the address.
After the copy, the transform docker retains focus. Consequently any keystrokes you send will be applied to the transform window instead of the drawing area.
I'm not sure whether this was changed intentionally or happened by accident. But I think you can get the focus back to the drawing area by pressing the TAB key, and then your arrow keys will behave as you expected them to.
Thanks George and Harry,
Gave up, made a quick macro button to copy and paste. All done.
Have nice weekend,
