I've spent a lot of time getting my workspace where I like it in X6. When I export it the only available format is to a .xslt file. However, when I try to imort it into X7, I get this message "Valid workspace file not found at the path specified".
The X7 import shows the ability to select .cdws, .xslt, .cwf and .cfg formats, but it will not import the .xslt from X6.
Help would be very appreciated.

To be totally honest, it's not that we don't want to support these two items. Quite a bit before we released both of these items were estimated but we knew they they weren't going to get to them. I''m not saying they are gone forever, but they don't work in the GM.

Thanks for an honest answer, Tony. If you weren't going to support it, why leave that option? It coudn't have taken much time to remove the file formats that would not be supported.
I agree...I guess I was focusing on the future a little to much.
I don't mind redoing my workspace, it'll actually be nice to familiarize myself to everything. but I have every single tool as well as a host of macros mapped to different keys, this is torture :(
Since when has it not been "a good idea to import old workspaces into new versions"? What is the whole point of a workspace if not to be able to build a personalized "second nature" usage of the software over time? That comment can only come from someone who uses the default workspaces. Or do you rebuild your workspaces every year?
I have been using my workspace, evolving it over time with new functions, since like Corel 6, importing into each successive version without a hitch. I am all for breaking with the past and starting fresh, but either support importing or not. This "here's an import tool, but wait here's an error, and well anyway maybe in the next update it works" kind of talk has the smell of afterthought and misdirection.
You've got a custom icon drawing tool in there for crying out loud, there's no way you're expecting your customers to redraw a few dozen icons out of loyalty.
PS: The workspace in case, below, is now given to every designer in my former company as the default CorelDraw workspace, since it gives clear labels and icons to the most used functions in that workflow (automotive design). I hope they're not upgrading to X7 any time before this is fixed, 'cos they're in for a surprise.
