Can you take a file that has multiple images and select one of them and export it as a PNG.
Currently I have to copy and paste it in a new file to isolate it then covert it to a PNG
Yes, just select the object(s) that you want to export.
You should see a screen like this when you choose the filename:

don't know what version look at the bottom of the export dialog box It should say selected only with check box pick object open export check selected only save file.
Slow down look at all the options try them
