Hello, i have a long-term problem with dimensions in corel draw x7. When I create an object (square, rectangle, etc, who should have dimensions - 181 x 67 px.
When i export this - final dimensions is 182x68 px. Absolutely do not know what wrong,

I talked to a lot of graphics as they work in Corel and nobody helped me so far. They are all too clever but this basic thing never resolved.
My last chance is thus this forum and I hope that what coorelu professionals dedicated years to help me. Thanks

It's a known problem. Not fixed at the moment, but I'll send Corel a reminder about it and link to this thread.
Pixel dimensions in CorelDraw are only exact when there is an even number of pixels in both dimensions. If either dimension is an odd number of pixels, that dimension is rounded up to the next pixel.
This has other unwanted implications. If the size is specified as an odd number of pixels, then each pixel straddles two pixels of the pixel grid. Here's what then happens if you ask for a 1 pixel outline:
For the moment, if you want exact pixel sizes and optimum results, you need to make your images a multiple of 2 pixels.

I'd forgotten that there was another problem that only shows itself when you export (it's so long since I've even tried to use this). But I've just tested it again and for me it exports oversize by 1px whether I make the object size odd or even!
Come on Corel - this feature is so broken that it really is unusable for any serious web work.

That could be something like an outline overhanging the design area.
Here's an example (334 x 112 px page, page frame, no outline) which exports to a 334 x 112 png) :
334x112px.cdr
Untitled-1.zip
[Edit: I've zipped the png so that it can be downloaded and checked in properties, instead of being displayed as a meaningless orange rectangle]
Here's a screen grab that shows the problem. Three objects that are all reported as being 30 x 30px. The difference is that one has the outline inside the object, one centred and one outside the object. When in Pixel mode this behaviour just doesn't make sense. The sizes of these objects are 30px², 31px² and 32px² and when in Pixel mode that's how Draw should measure them.
Besides the outline issue, I've had the same issue with bad final dimensions - and this is due to the odd number of pixels that get rounded up to an even number on export. My video shows some tricks to solve this (although I really wish after all these years Corel would develop an intuitive solution!). See www.youtube.com/watch
select the object and choose "Object hinting" with the secondary mouse button. That will align the object with the pixel grid
