I don't disagree with this but CorelDRAW supports features in PDF that will cause those features to open in other programs that can edit PDF what is incorrectly, they output perfectly but will show up as broken apart fills. Corel gave the Corel user what they wanted but it caused this unintended consequence.

Personally, I NEVER export as EPS. NEVER.

Once I create a document, I don't want to risk it being transformed in any way from my computer to its completion on a printed media. So I flatten everygraphic element to one layer and all vector logos and text on a separate layer. Of course, the text must all be converted to curves. WHY? Because I've met issues in the past like differences in kerning with fonts reacting slightly differently on a MAC computer that was used for output.

Ever since I started using this 'technique' I've practically never had issues.

What kind of file(standard format) you send to your client who don't have corel draw and he want to change the design which you have created?

I send ANY kind of file. I create large images for window graphics and signage, as much as any kind of publicity (business cards, magazines, etc...) It's not the fact that one might want to change my designs, it's more the fact that a printer's technician might accidentaly move objects, or even have incompatibility issues. (These are real facts that have happened to me)

Oh and there is...a lot of risk of incompatibility issues, even in recent versions of CorelDRAW. So by flattening all my layers, I don't meet any problems but one...Color matching issues can occur, but rarely.

And I ALWAYS flatten all my files. And what's more...never as an .EPS file. And so far, from where I live, I haven't met any output printing service that can't open PDF files.

I understand that flattening 'technique" works well in pdf , i use this, but my problem is when the client wants layered designs(gradients, shadows, pictures, etc) with editable text(i met such clients)because he want to edit the design and he don't have corel draw, what kind of file is compatible with all graphic design softwares? Most of clients want eps because can be opened in ai.

Most want "vector" art. They might say eps so they don't have to go through a long explanation. They may even send you a raster eps. Most every program can manipulate an eps unless it has fountain fills and/or shadows. EPS would be close but pdf would be even closer if it is made correctly. Explaining how to make the pdf properly could be time consuming especially when working with someone inexperienced or one who only knows one program. Same goes for someone who asks for a jpg. I need to know what the jpg is for. Many factors to consider.
Usually If I speak directly to a designer they will understand why I won't give them an eps. Some of our sales staff have been on the job for 10+ years and still cannot understand the difference between the file types. Key words to know are a vector and raster. If one doesn't know the difference there will be trouble.
