Hi,
Anyone here knows how to make it in CD12 so that when you paste/insert objects, they're inserted in the current pointer positon?
When you're working on big drawing it gets kind of annoying to go all the way up(or down) just to drag the new object.
Help will be truly appreciated ツ

Hi Patti,
if a macro was written, how would you want it to work? Would you want the top left corner of the image to be placed where the mouse it clicked on the page (as it works when you Import an image from a file)?
Brian,
I didn't realize there was a Paste At Mouse was in wOxxOm 's tool package. :) I am beginning to have so many macros that I don't know what I have! It works great...once you assign a shortcut key (don't ask me how I know -- ha!). Best if it's just one key stroke, so you can keep your hand on the mouse to control the cursor.
However...feel free to play with the idea and add options if you like. I think his is pasting the object at the upper left bounding box handle. If you can get something more like a rubber stamp effect that would be even better, i.e. it pastes where you click. Is that possible??
Thanks everyone for the ideas, I also found out that if you want to insert an image(object) from Photopaint, all you have to do is drag it with the left mouse click into CorelDraw and before dropping it, click and hold the ctrl key(you will see a "+" sign on the image), then just release the mouse click. This will copy the image to wherever you drop it.
This also works with pictures from a folder (just open the folder and select all the images you want and drag them!) ツ
Hi Goyito,
you don't need to press Ctrl when dropping the object into Draw from PP. Just drag and drop.I have found that the image jumps up and to the left of where I am dropping it. I tried using the Ctrl key to see if that made a difference and it didn't.
Patti, when I get a chance I will see if I can come up with anything new for a macro.
Best regards,

Hi Arun, Nowadays macros have made it alot easier, but in old days, After pasting, I would Shift+Click any nearby object and Center to Centre align with that object instead of going up the page and selecting it.
