Hi
Can anyone help with some info on creating clock dials in C/D 12.
I now the basics of creating the dials and it's very simple creating a dial with flat bottom numerals but I'm looking for Roman Numerals around the inside (bottom of each number) of the dial to be rounded.
If you look at any clock dial with Roam numerals you will see that the top of each numeral is flat and the bottom is rounded so that every number follows a circle.
I've tried 'Fit text to path' but is this the only option I have as when it comes to moving each number via angle on center point it starts to get messy!!?
Simple

A round clock has 360 degrees. Divide 360 by 12 = 30 degrees for each numeral. From the center, apply the guide lines 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 til 180 degrees. With this, you automatically get the degrees from the reverse side.
To properly align the numerals, make an inner circle (temporary) and place the numbers of the clock using the "snap to objects".
When done, delete the temporary circle.
Second option: rotate each number adding 30 degrees, +60 degrees to following.... +90 degrees.... and so on.
Important Note: Number IV (4) in watch with roman numerals is wrote like this: I I I I (four letters)
