I have been using coreldraw 12 for some time and all of a sudden the transformation docker, I usually get it to pop up with the alt F7 shortcut, does not come up. None of the ones listed under arrange, transformations will work. Have I accidently turned something off or what. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it is the same. I am running windows 7
Thanks
i do use a dual display but I have the problem when I am only using the laptop. I might have this figured out. version 12 may not be compatible completely with windows 7. I installed the xp mode virtual software and reinstalled the program into xp mode and it works, so it must be a compatibility issue. Of course the disk won't let you install from a remote location and xp mode treats your drive,s other than c, as network so i had to copy the disk to the c drive , install, and then delete the program. In the long run it still works in xp virtual mode but it won't work when you have windows 7 run it in xp compatible mode.
Hrm.... I never tested that. I run X4 in the MicroSoft Virtual Machine Windows XP and run it under Windows 7, as a Windows XP application, but no earlier Corel Graphics Suite. All my other versions, I run under a full, unmodified Windows XP, installed on Virtual Box (www.virtualbox.org, not the same as MS Virtual Machine) and they run without errors and everything seems to be there, for version 11, X3, X4 and even X5.
Hi. upon having the same issue with my docker window (transform and contour) disappearing I came here to find a solution. Thank you for the help. I switched my monitors around and viola! It returned. Also I read that CorelDraw isnt compatible with Windows 7? I recently had that operating system installed on my computer at work. My fonts arent compatible for the most part. blank fonts showing up in my files. Upon further troubleshooting we just downgraded my system back to XP. Everything works fine as it was before the upgrade. I hope this helps someone else.
Nope It happened to me in XP.Its gone cant make it come up any more. BUT
Holding down F8 when you open CorelDraw is the secret key to resetting the factory defaults and that does it!!!
