I'm having problems with my CorelDraw X3 images disappearing and when I click all I get is the Resizing nodes. I have to close and reopen the file, and even then I still lose the image after a couple of maneuvers again. I've tried to find answers here but cannot find any applicable or not sure where to find the options.
A few questions in order to help you out.
1. Which version of Windows are you running?
2. Do you have the latest version of video drivers (for your video card)?
3. Did you do the reset procedure (Hold F8 key down upon startup and answer "Yes" to reset to factory defaults)?
… and what happen when you press Ctrl+W?
Check if you have set the display to Manual Refresh (Tools > Options > Workspace > Display).
Hi Hugh!
I'm running XP
Yes, I have the latest video drivers (Computer is six months old)
I did not do #3. I can, but not sure it is necessary since I haven't changed video settings.
I travel a lot and so this is on my Dell Laptop Vostro business computer. I have CorelDraw X3 on my Desktop with no problem. I'm sure it is just a setting of some sort, just not sure what.
Thanks for your assistance.
Hi Ahmad!
Pressing CTRL-W doesn't do anything. I know where to set manual refresh, but I know it isn't the current setting.
I know someone using Draw v12 on Vista on a fairly new HP laptop. He moves the widnow scrollbar a little, items appear in Draw.
try that for a test.
