I am not familiar with either Corel Draw or the other graphic program (Adobe). I am hoping someone can help me figure out what I need to buy. I am looking for a program that I can use to make lettering and graphic files and send to a cutter. I also want to be able to change bmp files to vector files. I would need to save in .plt format. I would also want to be able to put together a graphic to print and then transfer to a T shirt. I don't understand Corel Draw. Do I have to puchase the program piece by piece? Is Corel Draw Graphic Suite X3 a stand alone product or ?. Thanks for any help you can give me.
have you had any good luck , I am just getting it to this to , I love to find a good pdf or video file to help step by step . I learned a lot in past few days , I can run my vinyl cutter some , I need to know how to use my own jpg or bmp or scanner to make plt files to send to my cutter , I read many files with not much luck . I am using corel draw 12 , is that the best for what I want to do ?

PP is great for many things, be sure to turn off marquee visible in the objects menu, since it's too easy to confuse with a mask marquee.
assign some shortcuts to your favorite effects, and also bring out other common commands like this to a toolbar
THEN you'll crank out so much work, and have lots of fun along the way
