Hi Guys
I'm wondering if anyone can help me as I've tried everything I can possibly think of...
The colors on my screen is totally of - I know its not my actual screen colors as my background on the desktop is still the same, it's just in Corel Draw. All my colors appear MUCH brighter than what they actually are when printing.
Thanks
Same problem. I even have a pantone Color Calibration unit, and it still does not show up correct in corel draw. PMS 347 green looks ike neon green. ETC
what color settings are you using?
Do you mean for the document, or in the print dialog? I normally start most graphic files in corel draw using the Default CMYK document setup. I do this because we mostly output to either CMYK offset print and CMYK wide format banner type printers. However, if we use any photos, they are usually RGB. When corel exports to PDF as CMYK, it makes a mess out of the color conversion of the photos, and the vector art colors don't look right either. On top of that, the screen doesn't look anything like the output, although I have learned to ignore what the screen looks like, knowing that the output will be closer to what I need.
What I have been doing, is output to NATIVE, so the PDF file ends up with both RGB and CMYK. THen I open in Illusrator and it makes you choose one or the other. I choose CMYK and it then looks closer to what I was hoping for. I've been getting by with this, but it makes it very hard to work and know what your going to get.
