I bought a new computer after my old one died. It has the same operating system, Windows 7 that the old one had, but now I can't see thumbnails for my Corel Draw files. It was working properly before and I double checked this by installing Draw on my laptop which also runs Windows 7 and it works fine. I've already tried uninstalling/ reinstalling CDR but with the same results. I also double checked my view settings to make sure they were the same. Obviously the problem is with Windows, not CDR but I'm wondering if anyone knows how to restore my thumbnail view.
Did you install the Corel Graphics windows shell extension when you installed CDGS?
This should be one of the dialogs you get during the install
Ripcord3; In your install or repair, and use Custom you should get as the screen shot. make sure you have checked the boxes you need. BOY THIS FORUM NEEDS SOME HELP SOON.

Thanks, I was able to locate the utilities and install the thumbnail viewer, but it didn't change anything. I just noticed something though. When I hit "save as" on an open file, the thumbnails for the other saved files display normally.
Thanks again, CDR is associated with Corel Draw as the default program. On my control panel under programs, all I have is a list of installed programs (screen shot) and the option to uninstall or repair the program. I can find no shell extension there or on the Corel CD, but several people have referenced it so it must be somewhere.
