still can't install VBA

Been trying to figure out how to do a custom install...since it keeps telling me VBA isn't installed...have read that I have to uninstall Corel draw first then re install to do the custom install.........Will this erase all the work I have on my Corel draw program....Scared to unistall and lose it!

  • You are right to be scared of losing your data. Don't know about any of the other stuff... BUT, the most important thing is to make sure your data (your work in CorelDRAW which I presume you would never want to have to do over again) is backed up to the media of your choice and stored in a separate place from the original files... like on a cd or dvd you keep in another offsite location (like your vehicle) or an online offsite storage location (like X-Drive) or another computer hard drive in another location far enough removed from your primary data storage drive, or a memory stick you keep with you at all times.

Now having said all that, I doubt reinstalling CorelDRAW would destroy your files... but it might depend on where they're stored. And then who knows... computers can do strange things occasionally... I know... I've been witness to it. You might even be able to do a "Repair" installation that only does what is necessary to do without uninstalling and reinstalling the whole program.

Again... DON'T TRUST ANYTHING. Make a backup of your critical DATA and then TEST the backup.

    Smile

Then you can carry on and have some fun.
