Meanwhile, read over the help files/ manual on Artistic Media. Also this article may help you understand the Artistic Media better.
Steve Bain's tutorial on the Object Sprayer
When you've done that, download the free object sprayer here: I just updated it today so that it will work in both X3 and X4. Place it in the following folder (or the equivalent folder for X3):
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\Application Data\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4\User Draw\CustomMediaStrokes

The Artistic media Brush elongates the brushstroke along the length of the path. You can change its width on the property bar.
The Object Sprayer is exactly that. It sprays individual objects along a path. You can change size, spacing, rotation, etc.
Now here's how I created my barbed wire brushstroke. I have tried this before with rope, but hadn't thought to try it on my barbed wire. Works great!
1. Draw a straight horizontal line, 10 inches or so long.
2. Open the Artistic media docker (Effects>Artistic Media) and apply my barbed wire Object Sprayer to it (see my previous thread for the link). To do this select the barbed wire Object Sprayer from the docker and drag it over to the line. When you're over the line, the cursor will change to a pointing finger. Release the mouse and presto! the line changes to barbed wire.
3. Switch to the Pick tool, select the barbed wire and then go to Arrange>Break Artistic Media Group Apart (CTRL+K). You'll see the straight line reappear. Delete this or move it out of the way.
4. The barbed wire left behind is a set of objects already grouped together. Select this and then save it as a Brush.
Now you can use the barbed wire as a brushstroke. You can draw the path with the Freehand tool first and then apply it as we did with the Object Sprayer. Much easier to see where your stroke is going.
Note that if your path or stroke is longer than 10 inches you will have to make adjustments to the width of the stroke. ...Or you can make another longer stroke and save it. You can apply the object sprayer to a longer lines, say like 20 inches, before saving it as a brush, reduce squish it down to a width of 5 inches or so. It will stretch when you use it and it makes it easier to find it on the AM docker.
That should get you going in the right direction anyway! You'll need to experiment with line length and width to get it to work for what you want.
You are a Angel from above.. I will use all options to master this
Again Thanx If I can be of any help, let me know, I have a small Screen Printing Biz here in Texas. I was mostly buying artwork, but with the economy I`m forced to Learn a new way LOL
