I am sure there is a basic answer to this! I have a hard drive with hundreds of Corel VII, VIII, IX, & X files that my grandfather left me when he passed away last April. I don't have the software and have not been able to find a way to open them. I want to see them & I'd love to save them as TIFFs. Any ideas please?
Thank you!
LOL! That was a devious answer Val! Why didn't I think of this?! Seriously...if the original poster doesn't have an ISP account...then this option doesn't work.
It's taken me a few days but I wanted to thank you for your suggestions -devious or otherwise :-). Files are Painter VII-X. I'll see how it goes.
Now, really, what's the deal with the complete incompatibility of this software with other complementary apps? Seems to me that hindering access in this way stems collaboration and hurts Corel's bottom line. I'm just a bit frustrated with this. Tear down the wall, Corel!
